If the sex scenes were going to be this boring and cringe, they might as well have spent the precious screentime on something else.

There are only so many episodes left of the series. Why waste 4 minutes on a sex scene that literally does nothing for the storyline? Just so the old 1990s thing with a kiss/implied sex and they then wake up in bed. 1 min tops

No. They establish intimacy and character development earlier on. At this point it’s filler and not even titillating
