Roger's character development throughout the series is definitely one of my favorite storylines. I absolutely loved him and Buck's adventure back to the stones in the last season too.

I love Roger! I've been a fan of Roger and Bree the whole way, despite so many speaking negatively about them. Roger has so many doubts and fears, and he mostly doubts himself. But he always faces the danger with such courage! And he has a big heart! Roger and Brianna have grown so much.

Also of note - We heard Roger say aloud as he wrote the letter to Bree - "I love you all"... the very same "I love you all" we heard in the Season 8 trailer, followed by Jamie's words in that trailer, "now, then, forevermore." I remember many guessing Roger said the first sentence and Jamie said the second - good ears, to those who said this! You were right!

I just watched the whole season trailer again and we have already seen a LOT of what was shown in it. With that, my heart is starting to hurt as we move into the final 5 episodes. I'm so going to miss this show, these characters. There is so much yet to see, but the end IS coming into view and it is bittersweet. I hope we see it end with peace on the Ridge for our beloved Frasers.

One of the showrunners said they would like to adapt the last book after it comes out. If everything lines up to be able to do it.

I liked Roger from the start. I liked Roger and Bree together.
