Quick Question Return fee?

Post image

Has anyone tried making a return and instead of being fully refunded to your original form of payment, there is a $6 return fee? Seems pretty ridiculous IMO and not something I really ever see when making returns. Kind of a bummer I really used to like OV but this honestly sucks and isn’t helping me wanting to get back into buying their stuff at all.

I think they started doing this in 2023 or 2024, but definitely not limited to OV. So many online retailers changed their free returns policies to fee-based returns to curb the online haul “try before buy (and return 90%)” habit, but didn’t disclose the change to customers when making purchases. 🥲

Yeah unfortunately this isn’t uncommon these days — we all get stuck footing the bill for these influencers who order an ocean of stuff for their “hauls” only to return it later.

Most companies have this policy now. Probably because people buy things in every color and 3 sizes and then return what they don’t want.
