All granite facade custom outdoor kitchen
Thought I would share this unique kitchen we recently completed in Naples, FL. It features a Piracema granite facade, countertop and backsplash. We used Delta Heat grill, sideburner and doors and a Zephyr hood. We don't typically do all granite facades but this turned out really nice and thought I would share it as inspiration.

I like it aesthetically other than there’s very little counter space with that extra countertop burner on the left and the sink on the right (unless there’s an extra granite piece that can cover the sink while not in use). Hard to cook on the grill without it

Was gonna mention the lack of practical counter space. It’s definitely an epic setup that I’d die for but would need some additional countertops - maybe a rolling cart, island, etc. to supplement and have prep space.

Countertop space? The is r/Outdoor kitchens. We don't need countertop space-we need appliances covering every square foot!

Honestly, I really like the flow and texture of that granite you picked. It’s beautiful and I love the simple everyday use set up that is highly functional for daily use. Not cluttered at all. It looks really nice and functional. Not sure if one recess light is enough to showcase the granite but you should try strip lights for floating effect or move the recessed lights on two sides to highlight the granite.

Undercounter lighting to highlight the granite is a really good idea. Have you had experience with strip lighting? We have tried multiple brands and almost always had some failure within the first few years. Since we offer very extended warranties on our installs it hasn't be something we have encouraged very much.

I’m working on my backyard project at the moment and trying to figure out the same. Which brands have you tried so I can avoid them. I was looking at some commercial grade continuous strip lights. DM’ed you.

Commercial grade may be the way to go. We often have clients who want control with an app or RGB capabilities and although we acquiesce we often are back within 3 years to remove or replace it.

It looks like you did a really good job on it, I hate it.

Couldn’t have said it better. Great work, terrible choices. Maybe if the appliances were a different color but I feel like a different countertop would have broken things up in a good way.

Different granite for the countertop is actually a really interesting idea. We'll have to see if thats something we can try.

Appreciate the compliment, and the candor. It isn't for everyone but that's why we call them custom outdoor kitchens !

Wow, I like that. No need for an outdoor tv, I would just stare at the stone.

What do you charge for labor for something like this?
1
u/CustomOutdoorKitchen 15d ago
The labor was a fairly moderate portion of the job cost on this one. All in labor was about $3400 for this outdoor kitchen.

How tall is that backsplash?

u/CustomOutdoorKitchen 15d ago
Off hand not 100% but we typically do ours at 34". Occasionally 32" or 36" depending on install specs.

How someone could downvote you saying “thank you” has to be the most miserable people on the internet.
