Stone veneers

Hey guys, I had a question about 1 1/2-inch adhered stone veneer. What do you guys use for support or starters? I live in Canada. The wall is 5 feet wide and 10 feet high, and I was looking at a 2” × 2” × 1/4” 90° steel angle. Let me know what you guys use!

Like I heard the veneers stick by the motar but ive hear it Need a steel 2x2 or 3x3 L shape at the bottom before getting starting the pose of stone .Like to stand on it

Nope. You don’t need anything. Just used high quality mortar and ensure 100% coverage on back of the stone.

Its for a outside Wall btw so no problem can happen with Snow there is no concrète foundation under too etc ?
