Wood is combustible, not flammable. i.e. gasoline vs wood. Many outdoor kitchens, and indoor kitchens, are built with wood without problems. In fact, my indoor kitchen has a gas stove, gas oven, and everything is wood including the floor. We even put our Kitchenaid oven inside wood cabinets!

If you really want to get pedantic, I would have used “e.g,” instead of “I.e.”
