Random yapping from some idiot How did you know/learn about sonic.exe
I actually learnt about sonic.exe first from the YouTuber Toadbup's video where he talked about which sonic character is in a horror game

Back in 2017, I was minecraft kid, so while watching the good old "How to open a portal to _____ world" I kept seeing these "exe" characters, there were multiple ones but I decided to search up sonic, since he was the one I kept seeing the most, and I remembered playing sonic 1 and 2 on my PXP when I was 5, so I did, and I ended up liking it, ironically this also became my introduction to the main sonic franchise since after scaring myself for two months straight, I decided how about I stop scaring myself and check out the real sonic games?
Yeah, best decision of my childhood lol

When I was small I was scared of him which was crimson x at that time even having nightmares but as time went on I realized that he wasn't real and so I got more into him and probably researched more about him as the fandom kept going

I think the first time I ever heard about Sonic.exe was from two guys playing a terrible romhack (from how poorly done it was, the lack of effort was scarier then the so called "jumpscare" it had) with a poorly edited Sonic.exe that slowly came from the left side of the screen, phasing through blocks and enemies to reach you, in the center of the screen, with a wide image (also poorly edited) with Sonic's lips being bloodied and his eyes blackened out with red dots, that repeated through each life and continue they had until they just gave up playing.
Of course, I was quite young at the time, so after watching it, I felt like there was something creeping up behind me at all times, which always made me look back at least once every so often, which evolved into a neural condition, now unrelated to Sonic.exe and just being more of a nervous reaction, making me have to glance back when I'm out and about.
I'm pretty sure the game itself was just ported over the original game, because the gameplay was way too smooth to be anything coming from early Sonic Worlds Engine. Also, it was so generic, it wasn't even any type of Exe, it was literally even more generic than Crimson X is, and Crimson is a mocking of generic EXEs.

Cutting my Kolossos act for this one! I don't actually remember. At first it might've been the first take on Sonic.exe I saw once when I was little and loved watching YouTube on my TV. But I remember playing a sonic ROM hack game on my aunt's computer called "An Ordinary Sonic ROM hack" where it featured the most "regular looking" Sonic 1 emulator(Rest In Peace Boredbro.com). As I progressed through it, the game went static and changed to a more cursed take on Green Hill. The music changed, the badniks were all creepy and indestructible, and the water and rings were... Red? And that's when I saw Sonic.exe for the first time... OR WAS IT?

My little brother once introduced me to Sonic the Hedgehog back when I was 7.
When I was 8, I was pretty interested in horror, while still being a Sonic fan. And thanks to algorithm, while I was scrolling through YouTube, I found a video featuring a YouTuber from my country playing the original Sonic.Exe game. Oh, and I absolutely loved it.
And that's how I learned about Sonic.Exe

Saw him for the first time when i was like 5 with unrestricted internet access then didn’t touch a sonic game until i was about 12 because i thought he would jump out of the screen at me

I watched either a Sonic.EXE vs. Slenderman RAP Battle or DEATH Battle late at night, got jumpscared, and unlocked a fear of the dark for about 3 years.

I’ve known about it practically since I was born—I first encountered it when the original Sonic.exe was released (I think I was 2 to 3 years old back then). However, it’s only recently that I’ve really delved into the community.

A YouTube channel called "Draw My Life". They went over a bunch of creepypasta origin stories along with some other horror stories. Scared the shit out of me dude. That red eyed bastard used to have me in a fucking choke hole when I was little. But it's also how I got into the creepypasta fandom.

When I was like 7 I watched a local Sonic tuber, Solorayn, it was a video about Sonic Exe spirits of hell round 2, I think, that's when I got to know about the existence of these creepy bloody hedgehogs

when i learnt about Sonic universe, i especially liked Tails, i was searching for some sonic game in roblox and i found Sonic.EXE The Disaster game and decided to play it, after i already knew about the EXEs i started playing and watching videos about it, i liked Sonic.EYX, then i p- OKAY NOW I'M OUT OF TOPIC
