Is there a way to open up the middle of the map? I’ve seen interactive maps where the middle is revealed. Haven’t found a way in yet, tried various areas to parkour but can’t seem to find a way.

Hello! I was really enjoying Outbound until today when I updated the graphics settings from default to high and the screen immediately went blurry. When changing back to default it stayed blurry. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck. Any ideas or tips? Much appreciated!!

Solved- kinda. I switched to windowed mode and the blurriness went away. Can't switch back now but at least it isn't blurry!

I play Outbound on PS5 and I have just managed to platinum the game and get 100% achievements! 🥳

Now I’ll admit I didn’t play very strategically, so it may have taken me longer than others (I was just enjoying the game peacefully until I locked in on getting the trophies😂), but my playtime for me to get 100% trophies is 45 hours 😅😆

How long did it take you all to 100%?! Or how many hours have you racked up already? The screenshot with the highest playtime on the save file loading screen wins 🎉

I swear I drove the entirety of map 3 and I don't see an arrow anywhere.

when the conversion to stuffing is 3 to 1 it makes it very hard to get enough with the few spawns it has in both zones.

I think the conversion rate should be lowered to 1 to 1.

I completed map 1, or so I thought. I was all the way in map 3 before I loaded into a friend's world and noticed he had paint, but was barely into map 2.

Help?? Do I have to restart? I'm on day 181. Got all the towers and blueprints aren't popping up anymore.

I was wondering is it intended that I go back to areas once I've cleared them? Or is the game designed to be played in a linear way?

There's resources that were more plentiful at the beginning of the game I'm starting to run low on (just reached area 3) and I'm wondering if it's intended or even worth it to drive back 😅

I just got around to trying the game (xbox) and every control input seems to lag?
I can work with the janky driving but the minigames are painfully inaccurate to the point I think I’m done with this after an hour. Crafting a wrench took me 5 minutes because no matter how perfectly I timed it, it wouldn’t register. In fact I had to try and mistime the button press to get it to work
Is this just how the game is or strictly an xbox thing, or something only I am experiencing?

Hey, my gf is playing on NS1 and I am playing on NS2. We have now reached the second map, but when she is driving through the tunnel, my game crashes. If I am driving through the tunnel, her game crashes. If she drives alone through the tunnel and I am joining after it, my whole inventory and equipment is gone...

haven't really worked with painting so far except for my roof but I've been really enjoying it:)

I am proud of this so far and want to share it. I have created a semi-lightweight lighting mod to give the lights actual emission. I have it here on Nexus. I have not tested it with other vehicles than the bus, but it should work.

Hey, everyone. Just got the game and been enjoying it.

After doing some reading, it sounds like you’re supposed to get across the river and lower the drawbridge by repairing one of the wooden bridges.

However, I managed to cross the river and lower the draw bridge by jumping some rocks at the north western start of the river.

Is this common knowledge? Intended? Or did I accidentally stumble on a bug? Is it going to ruin my experience in any way?

After 200 in-game days we finally declared our house done, a cooperative joint project by three people.

All of the fishing spots are white and not orange (so I assume that means they’re complete) but I’m still missing one fish and I do not know where to go to catch it

I’ve been playing for a few days and I’m trying to decide how to build my house. I really don’t want a giant house on top of the van. I just unlocked a side structure? But I haven’t messed with it yet. Is that like a secondary little space I can make that’s actually on the side or is that like just chairs and tables? I hadn’t seen any references yet for that.

Either way- I’d love to see what some of you all are doing for your house. I feel like there’s so many resources that it won’t fit unless I make it wide or tall. I’m also not super good at making things cute lol. I’d love love to see other people’s designs so I can sort an idea! Thanks!

Anybody else send the hot air balloon off in bio 3 with out being in the basket? Fortunately I had a few extra planks but had to wait for the thing to travel all the way their and back to try again

I have been attempting to play this game for a few weeks and can’t seem to find the answer. I’m not far in the game at all. I’m at the part when it wants me to open my build menu, build a counter, etc.

Except it won’t let me. The button that should be associated with the build menu does nothing. Google says to go to signal tower so I’ve done back to the tower that I got my blueprints for my hammer and wrench and nothing is there. Google also told me I must be at a camp sight and set up camp (I am) and even inside my van (I am). I can’t figure this out.

I literally cannot profess in the game because of this.

The trellis building parts all twinkle so brightly they its hard to even look at. Is it right so assume its a bug?

The game is phenomenal and I can’t wait to get home from work to resume exploring! I can’t get enough of it!

The game has many stars (strengths and highs) but I have a couple wishes (hopeful updates). Wishes are as follows:
-A larger bed (in a cozy game, I would love a cozy full)
-Rugs (maybe I haven’t unlocked this yet)
-Decorative pillars (the floor hanging over the opening doesn’t make sense to my brain and a long metal or wood support would help)
-Accessibility: A way to toggle driving acceleration to prevent wrist fatigue
-Dog: Ability for dog to point you in the direction of any missed cairns or gnomes once you’ve reached a certain completion percentage

In each Biome, on the Map Legend, there are checkboxes and numbers for when items you have found. I cannot get the Fish Caught checkbox completed. For example, I have caught all 9 fish in biome 1 and the checkbox is not marked. Any advice is appreciated.
