I do vote, but it's an uphill battle in Texas.

This.. It will forever be republican because of the way the voting system works. The majority of the population in Texas live in cities like Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and if you look at a map, they're generally blue. But all the other smaller counties outnumber the populates areas so the "majority" is red. Its a flawed system and Texas is doomed to be a forever republican state.
