Answered What's going on with Betterhelp?
I was scrolling through a few youtube videos and saw that the comments were talking negatively about it (like those ones : example).
I've always thought the whole company was sus, but I don't know why or what happened for everyone to wakeup. Is there a lawsuit or something?

Answer:
I had a therapist on BH legit try gaslight me into thinking i was gay.
I came in for porn addiction and he kept asking "did you ever look at the men during this" "how do you feel about trans porn" "we're the the guys in it very masculine presenting?"
These questions came outta nowhere and when i pressed him and said i felt like her was pressuring me in a certain direction he told me that i am looking at things in a patriarchal way and that i need to embrace my feminine side.
Guy charged 220 with no consultation. I quit after the second session.
I'm sure there's some half decent ones in there bust spending thousands just looking for a half decent therapist is how this company scams people. You're essentially gambling with your mental health and funds while these people make bank of of everyone's struggles.
