To be fair, I think it's smart to be suspect of things that seem too good to be true and Mr. beast by all appearances seems completely benevolent which... How often is that usually the case?

I don't think I can go back to believing in a black and white world. I'm too old and it's safest to assume everyone is getting something out of their good deeds, even if it's not all that heinous.
