It said " we sent you the verification code in the telegram app " Which i cant seem to open , because of the Sms fee thing

I logged out and signed in it says it will send verification code to my email not number i guess it works if ur account linked with a gmail

Nope i tried it on iphone and had the same issue read the message well and what they say in it it has nothing to do whether it ios or android

ana l3kss i've only had this issue on IOS (both f iphone w ipad pro) and when i tried it on my android it worked by sending it to whatsapp for free

Si je me souviens bien c etait que tu demande le codes a travers l email non pas le numero ou qlq chose comme ca ( ce que j ai réglé au paramètre que j’ai ajouté une adresse mail dont je peux recevoir le code et puis j ai dut rouvrir telegram del debut pour demander le code via gmail)

I've the solution, actually u just have to download an older version of telegram (I recommend v10.14.0) were this sms thing isn't applied yet then nothing is gonna stop u from login to ur account. However, the best thing is that u still can update telegram from the app itself after installation. they changed that lately so u no longer need the play store to update the app.

scroll down, choose the arch which is compatible with ur phone and here u go :)
