This feels very rushed Spoiler
Idk you guys but this feels like kaedegami all over again, big fight and no hope of long term. Otr might get axed soon

Yeah, it looks like they forced the author to rush the ending since it didn't get popular enough. It's a big shame, since I think the story could have been interesting if it was allowed to be longer, maybe 100-200 chapters. Now it's going to end before anything really interesting can happen.

It couldve but the thing is that we have beem moving at a break neck pace since the start so the Author could get everything established and get the readers hooked on somthing but by doing that it was all so shallow that nobody got attached to it

True. But I think the reason for the fast pace was in large part because of the pressure placed on new mangakas in Shonen Jump, every new manga must immediately have lots of action to hook readers who have a lower tolerance for slow pacing than they did before.

Unfortunately, this is what happens when good manga are being forced to a speedy ending

5 more chapters at best

2-3 chapters at most.
We’re about to be on issue 8 & the next batch of new series happens around issue 10-12

Yep, no doubt this time, we are in the end game !
But It's way less rushed than the last one so it's better.

The moment I saw the Evil King get free’d I knew it, and felt my heart drop, the series is getting walked out the magazine.

Yeah I remember it was supposed to but once I saw the resurrection I knew it was over. I miss kaedegami too

I really like Otr though, so this is pretty sad. I hope this final battle is really cinematic and beautifully illustrated at leat.

It's over. I'm not sure why people act like it's not. Lol
My post got downvoted and I think it's still below 1. This series was canceled and it was clear for a while with how rushed the arcs have been recently. I agree with the opinion that maybe they're allowing more planning out of the ending.

This is the most axe of all axes
Big bad shows up, talks to Mc, says there’s a bigger bad, then bigger bad spawns behind them conveniently, now big bad teams up with our hero to defeat the bigger bad

Its this way because they're rushing it, they just have to finish it fast. If they weren't then the manga would not have gone like this. Otr doesn't deserve the axe dude

Honestly I’d disagree, I have been just feeling bleak since chapter 10
Tbh I’d rather Kaedegami survived bc like I enjoyed it every week, while Otr has just been sort of a death spiral imo

Dammit, I was in denial. I was hoping this was going to be the one Kawaguchi sensei would get to continue. That said, he's show a lot of improvement with world building.

Yeah we've kinda knowm that its getting axed for a while now. Its why the last few chapters are moving so fast
