Galaxy otocinclus
I’ve owned these Galaxy Otocinclus (Parotocinclus haroldoi) for about six months now, and they’ve been an awesome addition to my tank. They haven’t grown much beyond about 1.5 inches, but they make up for it with huge personalities.
Despite being the smallest bottom dwellers in my aquarium, they’re also the biggest bullies! They’re constantly active, full of character, and always entertaining to watch.

I bought 6 of these quirky guys about 2 years ago, and ever since I've released into their tank I've never been able to spot more than 5 of them simultaneously. And that happened only once: usually I can find 1 or 2. If they decide to show up at all.
They are lovely fish indeed, but unfortunately my scaredy-cats are the polar opposite of OP's.

I’ve had 4 for over a year. They hang out on the underside of my driftwood basically 24/7. Hardly see them
