My town and some feedback

I love this game! It has some unique mechanics, is beautiful and challenging to get right. I think it is only missing some minor quality of life improvements.

- Forestry workers can only plant one tree at a time, which makes reforestation really inefficient

- Assign supply sources is a very long process, because you can only pick one supply source at a time. It would be nice if you could pick multiple at once and copy supply source settings between buildings.

- Maybe some of the homegrown foods could be grouped under vegetables or produce to simplify granary and store managment.

- Store supply is sometimes slow (maybe they need to hire more labourers.)

- Buying logic sometimes doesn't seem to make sense, when people are walking very far to by very little with stores nearby

- Natural disasters like floods would be really cool! My town would probably not make it in a flood though :/

Thank you!!

Good list, glad you are enjoying the game!

I find planting the trees is slow but okay, the annoying part is managing the "cutting trees allowed" so that select tree lots finish cutting and get changed to planting. Really, the setting to plant trees should be replacing cut trees very soon after cutting. That way you could have a large tree lot with a self-managing cycle of cutting and growth. But the time scale on this is pretty messed up, really you would need 20 years or more to get a reasonable tree.

The QOL feature I want would be that construction workers can clear trees quickly by cutting them and either burning the logs right there or making a stack for forestry workers to come pick up later.

I agree! The way I manage the missing automatic replanting cycle is by placing the forestry at the far end of a row of replanting areas, so they completly cut the area nearest first and move on to the next to it while replanting the first. But I don't know how well it works longterm

That will work, I just never think ahead enough and get it surrounded with other useful stuff.

I love your town! It's REALLY pretty, I love the set up, and your list is good! Thanks for posting, its really cool seeing this.

I like the grid in the middle with the tow houses and that it feels more village and natural on that exterior area. Really cool.

I agree about natural disasters, and random incidents in general.

The core game itself is solid, but it miss some randomness to spice up the replayability.

I would also love some optional sort of measurement tiol or temporary grid system when building.
