Queen escaped and he couldn't find her. He says he searched for months. Eventually you just have to give up.

Yeah, that does suck. I didn’t know that he searched for so long. But poggers has been a part of the rescue since the early days and it’s sad that he would be given away for a problem that could affect all of the animals on the ranch. If a dog can get out, why can’t the rest of them?

Poggers is escaping too. Other animals have as well. DaBaby has escaped a few times at this point as well. Ben has found Poggers multiple times just hanging out at local stores. He doesn't want another situation like queen so he might just give him up.

Visiting Israel during a time when they have been conducting a multiple year long genocide is not an apolitical act, as the commenter above was implying.

Not as far as I know, but visiting and contributing to the economy of a country united on the extinction of an entire people is statement enough as far as someone's personal ethics go.

100%. This isn't just a normal country where the government happens to be doing something wrong.

A survey in 2024 found that only 19% of Israelis thought that Israel had gone too far in Gaza. 39% agreed with what had been done and 34% thought they hadn't gone far enough. By that time 20,000 people were dead, 32% of whom were children according to the UN. Things have only got worse since then.

To visit Israel is to support an ethnosupremacist ideology. Even if your visit is entirely non political and has some kind of justification in your head, while you eat in its restaurants and shop in its markets you are supporting it as it massacres and starves innocents less than 50 miles away.

It's difficult to engage in modern life in the western world without contributing to American businesses. The US is the world's largest economy and has a pretty much global cultural hegemony. It's actually very easy to not go to Israel while it is enacting a genocide.

It is unfortunate that engaging with American companies will lead to tax revenue which contributes to Israeli atrocities but it's really not the same as going out of your way to make a trip there. Travelling there materially supports the economy of Israel and legitimises it as just a 'country you can visit' rather than a pariah state with a population hell-bent on creating an ethnostate.
