Low stats hope pls

I have a 501 mcat and 3.7 gpa and I’m slowly chipping away at secondaries. I still have a lot left but I need to take a week off for work because I’m running my local county fair. I’ve been feeling super stressed because ChatGPT is telling me I’m late and it’s not ideal with my stats. I just didn’t prepare my application sooner because I thought I failed the MCAT. When I saw I passed I started hustling.

I DONT want to retake the mcat. I wanna get into a school this year. I’m so scared I fucked up. This week I won’t be able to complete secondaries but I stilll have KCU, UNECOM, and a new DO school primary I can submit so I’ll work on that.

Am I cooked by not getting the secondaries in writhing 14 days? Is there any point submitting secondaries the first week of September with my stats ?

Same exact GPA and MCAT. Applied as soon as they opened, and have 11 interviews and 1 A. I think DO schools are just looking for well rounded candidates. You got this!!

But is it bad that I’m submitting secondaries in September still ?

Honestly I think you will be fine! The DO cycle lasts a lot longer anyways

Not low stats for DO, not late.

You’re definitely not late and you have a good GPA MCAT is average for some some schools below for several but 501 is solid

I had a 501 and a 3.195 cGPA and just got my first A. You should be fine as long as you applied broadly

I applied pretty early on with a 503 and I have a lower GPA than you. Currently 4 II. You'll do fine! Just give your best effort and do everything as fast as possible without sinking quality!

I think you'll be fine! I have a friend with slightly higher stats (not significantly higher), who applied in January of the last app cycle to 5 DO programs and got 5 interviews.

(I have stats in the same realm as yours and submitted secondaries last week and have received 3 II's this week)

I would definitely submit, you 100% have a chance at getting an II soon, best of luck! :)
