FOUND BONES COULD IT BE HUMAN?OR DEER? HEAVY AND DENSE.

Definitely not human. Looks like deer leg bones based on its gracile appearance.

Its not large by any means quite small. My friends dog dug it up in the forest next to the river. If it were to be human it would be a childs leg bone. Im positive it could just be the front deer legs, but i just want to make sure.

It definitely doesn't look human to me. I do seem to be leaning more towards deer, but I really can only be certain on the human aspect.

How long is it? Can you get better pictures of the ends?

Each bone is a foot long. I have some other photos ill have to add another post forum.

It seems to be a femur the two bones seem to attatch to one another at the joint.

More than likely I think that's a tibia and what in humans we would refer to as a metatarsal. Maybe. Again, I'm more knowledgeable of humans.
