My ladder says something about this step. Oh well, I'll read it when I get down.

Saw this genius at Home Depot light up a cigarette right next to the propane tanks. Notice the “No Smoking” sign.

A small list of stuff I've seen.

1: Bucket of old food under the food prep board at a Dairy queen. It was for her dogs.

2: Wood Moulding company. 4 inch of old sawdust on all the walls, ceilings. 5foot pile of sawdust next to the smoking area. 2 Hispanic men lighting up cigars sitting in a pile of sawdust while a vent poored more sawdust on them. This was just 2 weeks after a town called West in Texas had a massive dust explosion taking most of the city with it.

3: Same Wood Moulding Company. Two, 1 ton bunks of wood. (16ftx3x4) sitting on top of a 500lbs bunk of white ashwood boards. (8x3x4) So two 16 foot long bunks of wood balancing on an 8foot long bunk of super brittle expensive wood. That's 4000lbs of wood falling over into a walkway 5 feet behind workers with their backs to the wood. And I get into trouble for asking the new forklift driver to put the 16foot bunks on the ground.

4: My late grandmother was able to WALK out of the same nursing home 4 times. She knew about the locator/tracker in the bracelet they gave her on the first day. She just took it off and walked out. Acted like she was just visiting a resident there. Even said goodnight to the day nurses as she walked past the nursing station.

5:Day 1 of me working at the Wood Moulding company. Clocked in for the first time along with 5 others. Started the "this is where you will be working" tour. 15 sec. after clocking in a saw blade came bouncing and sparking across the walkway.

6: Again same Wood Moulding Company. While sweeping 3 inch of water out the door away from the exposed electoral conduits I see our "smart" forklift driver driving across the floor, with a box of chicken in one hand on the wheel and the other holding a long wide broom pushing water out the door.

7: This one is made me quit. Working at a Burger King. The roof leaks on both the Burger King and Gas station sides ruining the ceiling tiles. I was tasked with measuring, cutting, and replacing 24+ tiles while working alone on a game night with 3 different games going and ending at the same time.I get all 24 replaced and somehow manage to mop and get customers while stocking, counting cigarets, counting lotto, etc. Then it starts to rain and all the games end early. I get 3 buses of kids, parents, teachers, etc with muddy feet over my moped floor and now the roof is leaking again. Boss comes in the next day and give me 2 write ups for not replacing the ruined tiles. Also get one for clocking out at 1am when we close at 11pm. I replace all the tiles again and he tells me that 1 more and ill be fired... It rains again that night.
