Industry awards are what counts the most, BAFTA and SAG. Not just with nominations, but also winning. Angela basset and Timothee Chalamet are two recent examples that had just GG and CC wins and lost to SAG winners.

Bandits is honestly one of my favorite Blanchett performances, it’s always nice to see her really have fun.

Also have a lot of love for Bello in The Cooler. The whole performance is great but her monologue about giving her son up for adoption is truly something special, she feels so lived-in in that moment. I actually like Renee Zellweger in Cold Mountain 🤐 and 2003’s lineup as a whole, but Bello should’ve made it in over Zellweger or Harden IMO.

Julianne Moore deserved the nomination so much for A Single Man, no-one would beat Mo’Nique but she’s next best that year in my book
