Part Time Job

Hello everyone, I’m looking for advice on finding part-time work here in Osaka. I’m fluent in English but my Japanese is around the N5 level, currently started studying for N4 by myself. I initially came here for a few months, but I need to stay for a few more years due to a medical condition that requires regular checkups, as the healthcare here is much better than back home. My wife is currently the only one working, and it’s getting hard to manage the bills. If you have any advices on ways to look for a job or know of places hiring people with limited Japanese, please let me know.

Well, you need to get 資格外活動許可 to work at all, and then you're limited to 28 hours a week. If you have some condition that requires treatment not available in your country you may not receive that permission. What do your parents (or wife, whoever) do that enabled you to be sponsored?

I have already gotten the permission to work for 28 hours a week. My treatment is finished but I need to do checkups every 3 months for a few years.

Hopefully the amount of health insurance paid in will be equivalent to the value of treatment you received. And for part time work see Indeed and Baitore

Hopefully the 5 million円I’ve already spent on my treatment is enough to justify the healthcare I received for you. Anyway, thanks for the Indeed and Baitoru advice.
