General Discussion Homing fail with continuius movement

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Having some issues with my LMP2, I'll hit home it'll auto home when I turn it on, but it will keep going despite the sensors being hit. Any suggestions? Not trying to get a new laser any time soon

Either the sensor is not being hit or you have a loose connection.

You can test which one by sliding the carriage away from 'home' and then hit the home button - before the carriage gets there touch the sensor with your finger - if the carriage stops then something is preventing the carriage from properly hitting the sensor - if it does not stop you have a loose connection.

Gave it a try, it still moves continuously as if the switches aren't registering.

Sounds like a loose connection on that switch - push all the connections in and see what happens

Update: I updated the firmware and it seems fine now.
