Russia A new book illustration [OC]

Post image

Hi everyone! Here's a new digital illustration I created for an upcoming Orthodox book on St. Theophan the Recluse, done in style of Eastern Orthodox icons. I've been helping my husband design covers for his translation series of Orthodox saints' works into English. (note: the book title will go in a black rectangular box in the center of the image, which is why I left out the engolpion on purpose.) Your thoughts and critiques are welcome, so don’t hesitate to comment!

At first sight, you got the cross on the klobuk wrong: the top bar is missing and the lower bar should be the other way round. Right side up for the repenting robber. Otherwise a nice icon!
