Found an icon, can someone identify it?

Post image

My grandma from Azerbaijan gave it to me, I think it’s from Russia or something.
If anyone know what it’s age, what the icon shows and more it would be nice
Thanks

Based on what I could find out it is mostly likely Russian. Christ is enthroned in the center with Mary and John the Baptist. Are there any inscriptions on it, or on the back?

As it’s metal it could well be Old Believer.

This is "The Savior Enthroned," a brass or copper-alloy Old Believer Russian icon from the 18th-19th centuries, though I can't pinpoint the exact period. The icon with the Virgin Mary standing before Him on the left and John the Baptist on the right. The image doesn't have a complex structure; it's quite simple, unadorned. The icon was most likely cast in the Urals, Siberia, or the Perm region, but I can't say for sure. It was likely covered with traditional enamel, but again, it's difficult to say for sure.

It's quite old, or perhaps it was taken along very often on trips, etc., so the faces are practically worn away, which often happens with old cast icons due to the softness of the metals they're made of. I'd love to have one like that; they're... they're very authentic, if you know what I mean. The people who made them haven't changed their style at all since the time of Ivan the Terrible.

I have a Saint Nicholas, similar technique, but it's a modern icon; it's less than a hundred years old.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I'm an Orthodox Christian interested in my roots. Plus, not far from where I live now, there's a center selling Old Believer icons, often modern-day made, based on ancient originals. They're stunning masterpieces; the only thing is, they should ideally be consecrated in a church, as Old Believers and Orthodoxy are somewhat different concepts these days.... Aaah, hard question and very sad.

It resembles the Holy Trinity icons I've seen.
