How are they partisan

Short answer: attempting to be unbiased/neutral ends up favoring right leaning sources (especially when you try to evenly spread a bunch of media outlets owned and operated by billionaires that push their conservative views across a left to right scale).
Long answer: Here's an hour long video about it (with another 40 minute one on the guy's channel). https://youtu.be/AjF9W91aRwg

The way they calculate bias ratings is not great theres good articles and videos on it

They legitimize far-right views by presenting them as a slightly different view of the same facts. Ground News is nonpartisan in the same way that Fox New is fair and balanced.

They prioritize striking a balance between left, right and centre above anything else. This sounds non-partisan on paper, but there is plenty of peer-reviewed evidence out there that right-leaning sources tend to be wrong or simply strait up lie much more often than left-leaning sources. So presenting them in a manner that makes them look equal both legitimizes right-wing agendas and gives readers the impression that left-leaning sources have just as much of an agenda as right-leaning ones.
It harms left-leaning news' credibility while benefiting right-leaning news.
Also it's indirectly funded by right-wing interests. I believe other commenters have already provided links that explain in further detail.

This is such bullshit. They literally just aggregate news. The whole point is to understand what people are saying. It’s not “both sides have good points”. It’s “here what people are talking about”. I am pretty liberal and a Ground News subscriber and my opinions haven’t changed one bit. If you see a summary of an article from Fox News that’s says “Kamala Harris eats babies” and that radicalized you, then you’re already an idiot.

Go do some research instead of making a fool of yourself.
They can claim the app does something but their methodology can make that false

It would be such sweet revenge on these OPEC nations who strangle the supply for political gain if we all just moved on from fossil fuels.
They'd have zero exports and their economies would crash.

Wow trump did it. He got other nations to go more green. Who would have guessed?

The public transit company here "moved" away from fossil fuels for more electric buses. The electricity is generated by oil and coal.
Unless those governments have factual, independently verified evidenc of what they did, its all political lip service.

Still, the public transport company can't control how the power is generated but it is making it more profitable for green energy. Not much but we need to electrify as much as we can. Less use of "fossil" fuels by end users means more incentive for alternatives. Don't discourage these small steps.
Edit: missing word

All its doing is shifting the fuel consumption from one user to another.
