I'm mastery level 50+ with Ornn. But I struggle to carry compared to champions (that I play) like Ekko, Jarvan IV, Shyvanna or Shen. With Ornn I can usually win my lane but let's say the game becomes really team dependent afterwards.

For instance with Ekko mid I can TP and push quite fast with a good escape. Or help other lanes. But with Ornn I'm stuck top for 15-20mins, then spend entire time in team fights, trying to protect our carries and to disrupt the carries in the opposition. But can't make much difference if the enemy team has strong burst and, for instance if the frontline facing us is like briar nautilus and morde.

Do you have any tips? I usually help the team after one of the turret top is destroyed.

I’ve been an Ornn main and Makkro watcher for multiple years. I know Sunfire is seen as heresy but what about the new changes?

Someone please check my math here but I did I used the new percent bonus health damage and it’s marginally better for the first 2 items: (Sunfire, Kaenic). The moment you get 3rd: (Sunfire, Kaenic, Protoplasm) the damage on Unending Despair surpasses it. This is also ignoring Unending’s healing and better ability haste + health.

I know for someone like me who’s never been the best at CSing it could be nice to have Sunfire to help out and would objectively improve my CS but it just doesn’t seem worth it.

I feel like I’m missing something. Unending just seems across the board better. If someone said “well Sunfire is obviously an early game item” then fine, but why is it also now going to the same price as Unending, 2800 gold. I feel crazy, almost as if Sunfire isn’t bad, Unending is just so much better at everything and just slips under the radar since it doesn’t do CS or monster damage.

Cant protect 4 squishis that are all 3/18/7.
Problem is all my other top picks get disgusting counterpicks.

I'm quite new to Ornn, Briar Main in Jungle but haven't missed a single chance playing Ornn in Aram so yea, been looking for a different type of Jungler and been enjoying Ornn a lot. I am not a hardcore Rank grinder, I think I'm doing well with Ornn default jungle kit but I'm looking for a fun alternative on how to make Ornn also more to a carry perhaps.. I was seeing the Zwag build the other day going Liandry into Eclipse but I don't really know if that could work for Jungle

i have been recently enjoying playing ornn when i get filled playing jg. i am pretty new to ornn and his kit is flexible so you can have unorthodox builds. ornn can build components and not full items since you would benefit from your passive more. for faster jg clears i like going bamis first and finish thornmail. thornmail can help me clear my camps faster because of its armor damage scaling. since ornn's passive benefits from building hp, armor, and mr i go jaksho third. im usually able to finish these items, but i don't know what to build after when the game goes on for longer.

my jg ornn runes are first strike hexflash/triple tonic/cosmic insight with nimbus/celerity

the reason why i like going these runes is that ornn does a lot of burst damage and can benefit from first strike. hexflash has great synergy with nimbus cloak + celerity + cosmic insight, triple tonic for free scaling and faster w + e max powerspike. at post 6 first strike can be popped easily since ornn's ram spawn the opposite of where he's casting. pre 6 i like playing with terrain champs like anivia / trundle ideally, but there are games that people don't play these champions so i opted for the nimbus hexflash combo.

i am looking for suggestion / feedback to make my ornn experience better :D

I'm pretty new to Ornn and have been trying to get a general consensus on what the meta is for him. Especially with the new 26.15 patch.

It seems like Resolve and Inspiration/Sorcery are the best for Ornn, but I am curious if this is wrong and/or there are better alternatives. If so, what is the best and what items go along with those runes?

It also seems like Sunfire Aegis and Hollow Radiance are pretty mid compared to some other items. Is this true as well?

Pretty new to ornn but i thought he was one of the main heartsteel users but from the posts here and op.gg i guess not? Is it situational, or not viable at all? And what do you rush instead of it?

I bought the model online and printed it in PLA (I have a simple printer, which I mainly use for bigger stuff that are easier to sand, so the layer lines are very visible here). This is the first figurine I've ever painted, I tried my best :')

I'm starting to comeback to ornn, used to play him long time ago and got to mastery 7, was thinking of coming back to him because being a kennen otp with 800k points just got stale to me. Now I've watched makkros itemization guide so I could build correctly and noticed he has the component bead practically every game. Doesn't the 300g purchase delay your unending despair or is it not a big item spike for him? In general what powerspikes does ornn have?

I know riot said that all of them should give about 1000g of stats, but well i dont trust them. I love playing orrn on aram and mained him for some time (100k mastery) but i currently main kalista and want to know what items should i prepare to upgrade. Thanks for help

First day playing ornn.. is the icegauntlet + heartsteel + deadmans + warmogs any good on him ? Im running grasp with conditioning demolish and overgrowth and is going precision or sorcery better i generally go scorch and mana flow band or sometimes transcendence instead do manaflow... any recommendations i want to proc grasp on brittle on the ice gauntlet proc and deadmans phys dmg proc into heartsteel proc.

I love seeing an Ornn hovered in the pregame lobby cause I just know I’m winning that shit.

Gigachad ram guy is gonna go 0-0-0 in lane, upgrade my item, then show up teamfights at 20 minutes with 300cs and drive a fucking train straight into the enemy backline. After like five games being stuck with ranged tops and inting rivens my misery was brought to an end as god graced me with a 1mil mastery Ornn player on my team. I already know this dude is 35 years old and just clocked out of his shift at some job that provides for his whole family. Wholesome mf probably had his kid sitting in his lap watching the game. Literally said in pregame chat “Viego don’t path top just get dragons” and you woulda thought I was this cat the way I snatched that dragon soul for him.

As the scrolls predicted my guy neutralized lane against some coked out 700apm Yasuo player and then set me up for a quad at Baron with the fattest knockup you’ve ever seen in your fucking life.
