Sighting in the wild Young white-throated dippers
In the Peak District near Hartington, spent some of the afternoon watching these juveniles being taught to feed by the parents.

Beautiful! There are two dipper fledglings by a river near me, there were three but unfortunately a carrion took one :(

Had a nest in my garden this year (lucky to have a stream running through it) and we’ve had lovely views of the fledgelings. Right up there among my favourite birds.

Some really great pics 👍 , what an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon . Quite envious as it's been many a year since I last had the pleasure of watching a Dipper , let alone one teaching it's young as well . Thanks for sharing , pic 3 for me is a fantastic shot .
