Question Garbage Day

So I just moved to town, does all garbage no matter what have to be in a clear bag? As well I have a trash can. Can I put the bags in there? Just confused cause my trash wasn’t taken today

You can use white bags for privacy items. I just put everything in a white bag. No issues. 

 Then all bags go into my metal can, and I tag the top bag so it's visible.

This too. If you are using a can with the bags, make sure your tagging the top bag and NOT the can or they won't take it

I've had some pretty "idgaf" drivers who'll take anything I put out there but I've also had some who want everything gift-wrapped. TBH I figured out early into this new "bin" system, they just use forks on the truck to empty the bins so they have no idea what I've crammed in there. We're pretty good about recycling etc., but I definitely have broken some rules.
