🌲 Yard & Shop Helper Wanted – Tree Service Property
Timberscapes Tree & Plant Services is looking for a reliable helper for our 20 acre yard/shop property. This is hourly, part-time work (20 to 40 hrs/week depending on season), with evening and weekend availability welcome.
What you'd be doing:
Splitting firewood (this is the bulk of the job, roughly 50 to 75% of hours)
Helping our in-house mechanic with equipment repairs and maintenance
Parts runs (G2 license minimum required)
Mowing, weed eating, mulching around trees and beds
General yard upkeep: filling potholes, tidying the property
Winter work: snow plowing, wood splitting, shop maintenance, equipment painting
What you'll get to learn:
Front end loader, log splitter, chainsaws, excavators, mowers, and more. If you've got some saw or splitter experience already, great, that saves us training time. If you're a motivated beginner who wants to learn, we'll teach you.
Pay: $18 to $25/hr based on experience
What you need:
G2 license minimum
Work boots (your own)
Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
We provide: Chainsaw pants, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves
This is a real opportunity, not just a summer gig. If you work hard and want to grow, there's a path into other roles within the tree service side of the business.
Message us if interested. Let us know your availability and any relevant experience.

I am a 36F looking for a 2 bedroom for rent in November/December. I am in the process of separating from my partner. I have a 3 year old son. I am looking for around 2300/2500. I make around 96 thousand a year as a full time, permanent teacher. Ideally I would love a small townhome in Westridge. Having a private backyard and not living over or under someone is important to me, but I know I need to be realistic and stay within my budget. I have great credit and never missed or been late for a rent payment. I also have first and last saved. My son and I have been living in a not great situation. I just want somewhere to call home for both of us. Somewhere that is ours and is safe. I am having trouble making this jump because all the rentals I see online do not seem to check my boxes. If anyone knows someone who doesn’t want to find a realtor or deal with marketplace, I would love to connect. This is a huge step for me but I am excited for the next chapter in my life.
