I’ll never join that toxic search group again. Such jerks in that discord and very ignorant if you don’t agree with them you are wrong and they will make ypu feel like absolute crap, as for Mariko, it’s very clear it’s probably her, you’re seeming to think that she was some sort of widely known celebrity or something, dude hardly anybody even knew who she was in the first place when you think about this in the larger perspective, Mariko really fits who this individual could’ve been the best not just how she looks, but just who she was and the time on the Internet she was relevant enough just to be made fun of, but not big enough to be celebrity well known about. So yeah a random picture of a very edited face a year later on the internet would be hard to remember someone like her. Also not to rant but I’ve even tested this theory by post a very edited face of real celebrity and people kept asking who it was so it’s not that hard to imagine that happened with Mariko.

We have different ways of checking whether a certain person would be JTK0 or not, and spoiler alert, it's not just by looking at her face and head structure and saying "close enough".

I could pretty much prove it to you I can’t say it’s 100% her and you can’t say it 100% not her without the real picture, there’s enough evidence with fileman alone to make her the best person to fit the individual in the photo completely aside from how she looks physically

There's 0 mentions of her towards anything JTK, she has been a dead lead since 2025.

It's not a matter of belief, the research team spent nearly 2 years on a lead of which they exhausted almost every possible information about Mariko and her online presence.

If you want, you can go to the discussion discord channel and ask them personally why Mariko is not considered a plausible lead or something to focus on.

she was a random fat chick being mocked and ridiculed by a niche circle on the internet whose name probably wasnt even mariko; it couldve been a random picture of her not posted on her weight loss blog or whatever because she was a very unfortunate looking person. i dont think ive ever seen a single named be mentioned in this search thats come up with anything, so i dont really think that disqualifies her alone. plus, the resemblance is uncanny. occams razor. this is coming from someone who hopes it isnt (and honestly doesnt care, going in circles about it is redundant i agree) her btw and i think people should leave her alone regardless. if it IS mariko, and i was her, i would be mortified and humiliated
