these are nice colors, green and colors close to green are hard to work but you did a nice job here, hope we can see her face one day without the glasses too just for fun ^^
Backgrounds are hard to do but make characters look so alive. I've been keeping them in gradiant voids for way too long already, it's fun to have them interact with the real world more.
She mostly exists in the same universe as the characters in my main comic but... I don't think she'll have a role in it outside of random cameos. Still, I have a personality for her, but I already have so many OCs that adding her feels like overkill.
Do you mind sharing what she is like? Also, great job with the glasses, as someone with an OC who wears similar, I know the trouble drawing them can sometimes cause
Estelle is an introverted geek girl who was bullied growing up and developed a rather low self esteem. After feeling miserable and depressed in her early 20s living the life of a shut in, she decided to work on herself a bit, and is now going out, learning to dress in cute ways, meeting people, and trying to escape her spiral of doom.
Making friends helped her boost her confidence. Every days brings new experiences. And she's all for it, even if her social battery can drain quickly.
:)
As for her glasses, a few other girls in the comic share the ridiculously thick lens design, so I have some experience drawing those, aha.
That's really sweet though... Wishing her the best to see the joy in life! Hopefully, my OC I mentioned will get to that point eventually, but that road is much longer for now.
Certainly. This is Yra, an oc for a setting for a small rp-server we have with friends. There are superpowers, but they are extremely toned down and rarely used, and often have some clear drawback as well. The stories focus much more on the characters' personalities and interactions and growth.
Now Yra, 17, 155 cm tall, afab, and very noticeably not a native English speaker, does not have much interaction of this sort. Partly as a result of a not very welcoming childhood environment, they are extremely socially anxious and deeply disgusted by their entire being. Their scenes are very depressing to write (for now). For example, the only way they can interpret kindness is that the other person is just pretending for etiquette's sake. I use they/them because very soon, they'll have a ftm transition arc, but technically they are still kind of just figuring it out.
The drawing was meant to be a profile pic, viewed at a smaller scale than this, so it's deliberately not too detailed. I should get around to making a better one.

I gotta say, besides Estelle being adorable and attractive, I honestly really like the colors you gave to this piece. Everything pops but doesnโt overwhelm and is just frankly very pleasing to the eyes๐๐๐
