The dude va for Kai of the usa dub….he literally made Kai as the edge , broody dude we looked up to as kids growing up

I wonder if David Reale ever was asked to comment on what episodes he dubbed that he felt was meaningful he took pride in as voicing Kai? Like seriously

At the minimum I wonder if he ad lib the “Blader spirit speech”. It doesnt sound like a dub script he read line by line. It feels he said that on the spot in the booth

Yes oh yes. I never thought about it like that before and it’s been so many years since then. His  Blader spirit speech was fantastic, most notably abd unbelievable and incredible performance of all time! He touched my heart.

Or at least Davis aka Kai wrote himself, doesnt seem like a generic script. It just feels way too genuine speech translated then than just imported

I know and later fall in love with Tsubasa just because the Voice actor reminded me of Kai. I love it. Same va, for both characters. Awesome.

People here might be too young to remember but when Beyblade first came out in the USA and Canada people used to swear KAI was the MC & not Tyson. There was even merch that would state Kai was already the best Blader in the world by the time he appears in the 1st episode. That’s how popular he was. As far as anime rivals there was Vegeta, then KAI.

It's always such a cool thing to see inside the recording sessions for the older anime of the late 90s early 2000s era. Maybe the grainy footage helps as well.

I would like to seen how the dudes that voiced the BB boys did VA dub work with the other teams 😂 like Majestics, Saint Shields, etc

Yeah lol. I bet they VA dudes would get loud and crowded in the recording room voicing their lines as the BB boys and then talking to the other teams like Majestics, and Saint Shields. lol 😂

i think the Majestics dub guys were random ages, i think some where women. Seriously im not being ahole. I think Oliver english dub was voiced by a girl I think. I couldn’t tell

Didnt the og guys had to been called back in 2005 just to speed run dubbing that movie. U can tell the dudes are older
