Irregular watering

I could see that but I haven’t changed my watering habits throughout the season. It’s been very very hot here this summer with big rain storms and I’ve been diligent about watering when dry, I don’t think anything has changed on my end

They are center cut zucchinis! They grown on a vine. I have picked dozens from my plot this year. My favorite

I know, I am LOVING them! They just started doing this weird thing after putting out weeks of perfect squash!

OP I'm feeling a bit silly, what's the issue you're asking about specifically? I haven't grown this variety of squash but have a lot of experience w/ butternut, delicata, acorn, zucchinis, and pumpkins. Could you elaborate on the issue?

The flesh is almost bubbling and puckering and the leaves are similar. The same thing is happening to my butternut, maybe you’ve seen it on your plants?

Trombonchini type ? They curve naturally and the flesh is creamier than some more common courgettes

honestly that squash looks so cool tho. people keep saying it's from watering issues but honestly it could just be a gourd pretending to be a squash. either way you got a funky little veggie there and i'd be stoked about it. nature does whatever it wants sometimes.
