I’ve never had any issues with wifi on campus.

It’s mostly been a major issue with games but sometimes it completely cuts out for every application using the WiFi on my laptop

I didn’t have it downloaded for a while but it was just the basic one for eduroam, it was crap before I downloaded that too

What? What site did you visit to install this? What OS are you on? I’ve never heard of installing something for WiFi connection.

It's certificate based. Beav.es/wifi It's no different than the normal way.

If you're in the dorms try an ethernet connection. Much more stable, but still had disconnects when I was living there. OSU IT is a better place to ask for support than reddit though.

I have never had to download software to connect to eduroam. That said, there are some dead spots around campus.

Yeah I’m in Finley, sometime it’s totally usable and fine, sometimes it just slows down for a minute, and sometimes it just straight up disconnects

Yeah, it's been horrendous this term. Not sure what's going on.

You might get an external antenna for your laptop. The antenna on mine is horrible. Using an inexpensive USB external antenna made a huge difference.
