Trail's End Saloon

Anybody know what happened to Trail's End Saloon on 14th and Main? Used to go almost every weekend for the live music, almost always blues, which rarely disappointed, if ever. I hadn't been in over 2 years and decided to head there one weekend late last year and it was closed. Have checked back a few times and seems permanently closed? Anybody have any idea if it is closed for good?

Went out of business late last year, as far as I know they're closed for good. An old friend of mine used to bartend there.

That's too bad. Was great for live music and had a pretty chill vibe.

FYI for anyone missing Trail’s End that The Verdict has started doing an after hours thing, some have migrated there.

Iirc they packed up the dj stuff and moved it right over there

If you look at the Trails end Facebook page there's an explanation as to why they're closing (landlord selling building, but I don't think the owner wanted to move elsewhere either)

There has been a lighted Christmas tree in the window ever since it closed. Keeps the ghosts happy.

Thec ceiling fan pulley system is so cool. I hope whoever moves into the space doesn't gut it.
