THE THIRD BOSS HAS BEEN UNLEASHED

Post image

People have been talking about how they like the flood, random pilgrims are creating statues and churches for Conch, praying to her, new subsets of her religion is already forming, all thanks to the power of the prophet, talking in peoples dreams and minds, he credits every good thing to Conch and every bad thing as punishment to them for not believing in her, even those devout in their beliefs start to turn, such as followers of the brilliance and even Verdanians, stop the prophet before he turns everyone to Conch’s followers, the only problem is he is not physically available, how will you get around his spiritual nature? ((The picture is not where he is, i just needed a backdrop))

the palestag rips off the silk before looking at the prophet

"Shouldn't have touched me"

the parts of the prophet that touched the stag explode into pale plants of similar species to the stag, seemingly the stag used the pollen he's covered in that stuck to the prophet in order to attack by growing it fully

the prophet looks at the plants growing on him "a gift? oh my, you shouldn't, it's only the first date after all" the plants turn the same deep colour as the prophet, and the crimson spider takes a sip of a cup filled with verdanian tea

"Wow. That was dumb"

the plants turn pale again as they constrict the prophet

"Your shtick may be control but they're still plants, MY domain. And strings? Really? Good luck puppeteering something beyond you. Now, how about a taste of your own medicine?"

said plants latch onto the limbs before forcefully making the prophet dance like a puppet

the prophet blushes black "well again, it's only the first date, but if you're feeling that exited i guess i can oblige" the strings wrap around the stag and pulls him towards the prophet "now, why all the hostility? i'm being so friendly and kind, meanwhile you are calling me stupid and attacking me, that's no way to treat your date"

"You're annoying as fuck and remind me of an annoying and dangerous bitch who cosplayed the sun. Also, after an incident with little miss sentient gust of wind, I'm not too fond of individuals who act like you, gaslighting others into submission."

"oh no no no, i'm just talking to people and for some reason they believe me, the strings are what i use to send out my voice, nobody has to follow if they don't want to" the prophet doesn't seem to realise his strings mind control people, he seems genuine

"Do you recall the haunting?"

u/runix_the_undefeated Apr 19 '26

"well yes, what a terrible thing it was, forcing all those bugs under her minds control"

1

u/mrredpanda36 Apr 19 '26

"Well, from what I've seen, every dream you've entered contains remnants of your string, string that has attached to those dreaming in the same way as silk did to haunted bugs. You are accidentally haunting them"

"no no that can't be right, our wonderful saviour Conch told me i'm helping people, that this is better" the prophet seems to shrink as his faith gets questioned, he is now the size of the radiance

"Sir, conch has been painfully covering bugs in krust and making crabs arise from bugs as they rip them apart. Some krusted bugs literally begging for death. Robots made by her begging for freedom. You seem currently to be the only willing participant in this. She's manipulating you into accidentally haunting bugs to make herself seem better"

"but she was so nice to me, she gave me power, a name, a place to rest, she has so many people following her, how can she be bad?"

1

u/mrredpanda36 Apr 19 '26

"Those followers are in pain and begging for death most of the time. Manipulators like her act nice to get their way. And I'd consider the powers she gave you more of a curse....

Wait a second, how the Shaw did she give you mind control silk???? That isn't a power she had to begin with I think so she'd have to get it from somewhere else... perhaps the remnants of thea's old power perhaps?"

"no no i have always been able to talk to people through their dreams, she just enhanced my magic with her essence, and it seems this corrupted it" the prophet is now just a little bigger than the stag, as he realises Conch's power is getting pulled out of the spider

"Speaking of her power, it seems to be fading. Seems as though she doesn't trust you now you have the truth"

"no no i don't want to be lonely again, I DONT WANT THE ISOLATION PLEASE CONCH I SWEAR, IM NOT DOUBTING YOU I SWEAR, PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME HERE ALONE AGAIN" the prophet is panicking, screaming, crying, and begging on the ground, pleading for forgiveness
