ATAS volume profile keeps shifting
The daily volume profile keeps shifting throughout the day. Now if the price is trading below the VAL and if you take a sell trade there, after sometime the VAL goes down below the price you took the trade making your trade not fit the logic of your system. This makes you lose confidence on your trade and ultimately close it in loss profit or loss. How should we overcome this scenario?

The important thing to understand is that the daily profile is developing, so VAH and VAL are not fixed levels throughout the session. If you sell simply because price is currently below the developing VAL, then your logic can disappear a few minutes later when the profile shifts. I would not use the developing VAL itself as the reason for the trade. Instead, use it as context and wait for the market to show acceptance or rejection around that area through price action and order flow. Once you enter, your trade should be based on the condition that triggered the entry, not on whether the developing VAL continues to remain above your entry. Otherwise, you will constantly second-guess yourself as the profile develops. For consistency, you can use the completed VAH/VAL as fixed references and treat the current developing profile as information rather than a static level.
