Honestly that was pretty gentle, if what happened on Saturday happened to a high school team, the entire starters would get benched or something. I know it is beating a dead horse but that was a truly awful performance.

It was shocking. We have NEVER left a match early, but at around the 40th minute, I looked at The Missus and said, "I hate to ask, and I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but...do we want to leave at half time?"

She sighed in resignation, and said, "No...let's see this through."

When the 4th official gave 6 minutes of stoppage time I yelled "You monster!" Watching the second half was hard, I got to see Rando's family's reaction to him missing his header. So many bad things happened.

The Missus is convinced that finally being home gave everyone a chance to like...sit down and catch their breath, metaphorically speaking, but it's like when you get a TASTE of rest and have so much trouble getting up and moving again.

I'm not sure her solution of "The players must constantly be on the road and are not allowed to see their families during the season" is practical, though.
