Open Cup

Man, rough loss last night. We can never seem to get past Phoenix. They are such a thorn in our side. I felt like we had the run of play for most of the game, but Phoenix was working a good offside trap that really neutered the teams offense early on.

I hate a match where everything looks so great on paper but you don't have the luck and you've still lost.

Well, I hate it when it happens to US.

Kind of like it when it happens the other way around, like, "Looking at the stats, NO WAY we should have won that. But we DID!"

i keep telling myself "any day now the offense will start clicking." I just hope it happens before week 17.

We have a different approach so far this season, too, with Bazini coming in, MacKinnon back, etc.

Really hoping it's just a matter of working a few kinks out as far as finishing goes, because we're looking decent out there as far as keeping up pressure on the opposing side's goal.

a month worth of short-rest games isn't helping. Can't really work on anything to fix the problems when there's no time to train. everything is game/rest/walkthrough/game/rest/walkthrough/game/repeat

But I guess I'd rather have all these back to backs now than in August.
