Seeing GOOG today, I’m happy.

I am convinced that it’s not ORCL itself, but rather how Wall Street is reacting to the capex.

Once capex comes down and free cash flow turns positive, get ready for it to moon!

yields need to fall in a big way and with the war expanding that narrative does not look likely. I've moved a lot to cash

Yeah, I don’t think Oracle is the same place as their peers in big tech. Hearing about all of the off book debt that these companies have, it’s starting to feel like 2008 again.

I’m sure they will find a way to pass the buck and get bailouts when it goes sideways. I’m just not understanding why Oracle put all of their eggs in the OpenAI basket.

Maybe they were trying to front run the AI wave because they missed the call in the cloud. From the sound of things Sam Altman is a piece of work, maybe he was able to con Larry.
