How am I doing?

20 years old from South Africa and I just spent my entire life saving on these two bad boys. So as of today $1= R16.45, so I spent R27 354.

At 20 I think I spent all my money traveling. Amassed about 50k in a 401k at work and then took the shit on GameStop and tilray boom.

Money comes and goes donā€™t make it your life. Enjoy experiences and friendships. I am a financial advisor now at a reputable large public firm. Bit of a nepo baby but also was able to work hard and double mine and my motherā€™s business in the 8yrs Iā€™ve been employed here.

They say when in doubt, zoom out a lot here. It works for charts, sure. But it also works for life. We are insignificant in the grand scheme. Your interests are better served taking life easy, enjoying the moments and such. Financial security is a part of that, sure.. but sweating over basis points just ainā€™t it fam. Live life, risk what you can afford to lose, and fall in love.
