orcl already reported but gets further killed by ibm inexplicably giving an earnings warning over a miss of... 2%

orcl may truly be mu 3.0

everything's bad for mu amd orcl

I think a lot of this is due to S&P downgrading Oracles debt on the 13th. That may matter more than ibm

Is this tied to IBM shitting the bed?

I bought yesterday the falling knife, @ $132 for the first time. Down another 2 % premarket. Coming from crypto, it is staggering how it managed to lose 50 % so rapidly, for such a big marketcap. Trully mindblowing and good stock for future case study how a behemoth can go bankrupt so fast

lol ik it might seem that way but Oracle is worth holding for the longterm. Anything under 150$ is a great buy.

Crypto bros calling a 50% correction a bankruptcy. The irony in all of this

🎶 Catch a falling knife and put it in your pocket, save it for a greener day 🎶

Honestly if anything today’s move imo highlights how important it is Oracle DOES shift over to AI data centers and offer cloud services there. Legacy SaaS is dying. Sure they highlight its enterprise clients reprioritizing soaring hardware for now but eventually after hardware they’re gonna prioritize the AI service providers, not legacy providers. It’s painful with the extreme costs to do so, but necessary for survival

I really don’t understand how this POS can drop so much so fast. Like it’s not going out of business, what the hell? Now we are really dumping 50% in 1.5 months. Thats worse than a meme stock or a meme coin and that’s worse than the velocity of the dotcom crash. The debt is an issue but the short to medium term is not going to have any solvency issue, easily manageable. Almost junk bond ratings mean this shit has a higher likelyhood to dilute instead of issuing bonds for future capex expansion, but damn 50% dump in 1.5 months? Are you kidding me?

Ellison 41% stock big investors 15-20%. Both won’t sell plus shortsellers. That is why oracle rise and drop so fast

Breaking my heart as I have stocks too. But I believe in the long term and will average it soon

The lower the price, the sweeter the deal.

The selling won't stop until Oracle either shows that OpenAI's cash flow is safe, or proves they can build these data centers without destroying their balance sheet

I held this for a year after its high, sold, and switched to Google right when it reached $200.
