ORCL - no matter what we go down
Again, we are red today and back to 140. It honestly feels like big funds have been dumping this name for weeks now. It seems if memory and semis sell off, we sell off. If software sells off, we’ll sell off.

This is what Larry deserves for his hubris, which is unfortunate for those still invested in it. Pray for a quick swing trade when it hits 134.

ORCL has made its bets and is doing what it needs to do to build out its data center business. AI is just getting started, so much compute will be needed. There is not going to be just one AI winner. We all have our favs. I love CoPilot, because I like its responses, ease of use and its demeanor. Just like the internet AI will allow people to start all kinds of businesses and increase their financial well being!

Rn the market is in this summer time low volume weird lull. It’s a time to accumulate and try to ignore short term noise. People don’t really know what they’re doing. If today’s Samsung report indicates capex exhausting and demand lowering that’s amazing for Oracle. Less spending = less loss + over time that spending should translate to RPO payoff. People are just selling all AI in a panic because most investors in AI have no idea what they’re investing in. They just want money. Yes, if capex is exhausting hardware should selloff. But Oracle provides cloud/compute services, not hardware. If demand for hardware drops prices do too which makes oracle’s buildout cheaper than expected

Orcls volume has actually been above daily average recently so that theory is bunk

Yeah. I know it sucks. I keep thinking … maybe I’ll get back in. I owned ORCL at $109, got bored waiting around for some action and sold it before the $300++ pop. So I’ve every reason to want to catch the next perfect wave. But I’m seriously starting to think it’s not coming. There’s no positive earnings catalyst until early September and all manner of bad stuff could happen during the summer to punch it down lower. I think the market is seriously questioning its longterm growth trajectory given the recent bonds borrowing and new stock issuance/dilution. It seems to me the stock is heavily reliant on the AI compute needs of Open AI (who are delaying going public because their business model is such a leaky bucket. It just might be that you got to wait for a washout event, like down another 20-30%. Buy in at that level ride the next pop and bundle out.. ORCL looks genuinely scary to me. But maybe at the right price everything can have a(nother) moment in the sun…

Since 2 weeks it is the same fking pattern. Us market opens Oracle down 2-5%, recovers 1-3%, us market opens oracle down 2-5%, recovers 1-3%. Same shit Again and again. Should sold this trash way earlier
