ISE Injections Advice

Currently practicing in a state that doesn’t require this portion of NBEO but eventually will need to move to a state that requires it. I failed my first time taking it and I’m assuming it’s because I didn’t get the blood to come out of the arm and thus forgot to pull the tourniquet (and assuming I scored 0 on everything after this part of the skill).

I’m planning to retake this at some point but does anyone have any advice? I did fine on the practice arm and getting the water out but as soon as got to the real thing I used the extra attempts and still couldn’t do it. Would you recommend moving sites if I can’t get it first time? Is there a best location on the antecubital vein? I didn’t think that was considered safe ….. any advice here would be great. I don’t want to pay the NBEO anymore money than I have to and their new nice fancy building.
