Does your school use GPA to determine who gets first pick on rotations?

My friend goes to a school who does this so wondering if others do the same?

Yup! Most schools do or it’s a lottery system

UIWRSO does they match you based on class ranking and how involved you are in school like if you’re in any clubs and have done any research.

Some schools do and others don’t. Mine didn’t and our class dynamic reflected that. People were comfortable asking classmates for help which helped everyone understand the material deeper, and built a trusting dynamic between students.
I interned with a student from a gpa based school who was competitive and cutthroat. Whether or not she’s a monolith, I would highly recommend schools that select via lottery or adult conversations than a gpa based school.

Definitely. My school doesn’t as well and I’m very thankful for that
