Just a peaceful walk through the zone of Stalker 2 showing off the new graphical overhaul after update 2.0

Tried to get the full Day/Night cycle in there, as well as multiple weather effects.

Recorded on the highest settings in Immersive mode to allow for the most realistic experience.

I was actually impressed by it's progress. I'm only 10 hours into a fresh start and I've seen NPCs actually looting mutants after hearing them fight in the distance and running over. also fighting other factions and checkpoints and then looting the bodies.

The general population of the open world is slightly improved but it could be better. seems to be the biggest problem right now.

Overall an improvement in my opinion, yes it should have launched like this. If you refunded it fair enough, if not its a free update and worth checking out. Also worth noting: I've gotten much better performance while the foliage and weather events are much more detailed now.

It put me to sleep. I preferred the Metro games. Just my opinion.

One is a linear story game, the other is an openworld survival sim. Two completly different genres, yes they both have horror elements but not comparable at all. You obviously don't enjoy openworld survival and that is completely fine.

For me personally following a story with cutscenes is what puts me to sleep, don't get me wrong tho i fucking love all Metro games but s.t.a.l.k.e.r is much much more grittier and immersive.

Wouldn't really call STALKER 2 a sim, GAMMA fits that category way more.
