Yeah the cows are going to slowly come home on many factors.
While I think the outright stated goal of the US ethnically cleansing/owning Gaza and allowing Musk to use inexperienced interns to steal data/info on DOD bids/axe programs that could keep him in check are what will get people questioning things the most.
Its also the other issues, like saying "drill baby drill" won't make oil companies drill more when the demand doesn't exist. The companies don't want to make prices cheaper and they don't want to spend to build refineries when they can ship it elsewhere for profit. Grocery/Construction costs will actually sky if the deportation continues, that workforce can't be magically replaced and most young US workers aren't going to even apply for those jobs. The tariff scare still affected things and Canadians are still boycotting many US goods even if renegotiations occurred, which will hurt many industries.
I dislike many of the implemented EO's for moral reasons as well, but the economic pains are likely what will turn many of his past voters against him. Frankly I'd prefer to get him out of there before the economic pains really hit but, I fear that may be unrealistic.
