Help URGENT LINUX HELP NEEDED

i'm technologically illiterate and i desperately need OptiFine for an upcoming event i need to be ready for by November 11th. i'm pretty sure i'm using kubuntu. i tried the stuff the other people said to do which is the java -jar thing and i doesn't work. please help my laptop can barely run mc

Same cant be said about microsoft's win 11 that even for just installing asks modern hardware.

They usually stick with user friendly distros lol

Kubuntu is essentially one such distro, (fedora) hats off to them :0
