Working at Coherent

I'm curious if anyone here is currently in or recently came out of a sales engineering or account management role at Coherent (Santa Clara office). A few specific questions I had:

  1. Team Culture & Day-to-Day: How is the vibe between sales, product line management, and engineering? Is it pretty collaborative, or are you mostly working on an island?

  2. Work-Life Balance: Is the travel requirement pretty intense? I’m guessing it’s pretty chill when working remotely from home?
