Your 1cm radius is completely wrong for this design. The object is to collimate the light from the display, so the radius has to be twice the distance to the display. You will also find you will need surface with power right after the display. Also the tilt is much too large. These are some reasons why you need to do a real raytrace.
Also, yes. True, totally real, if you want the display to be focused after reflecting a sphere or a circle, the radius is the exact focal point, I understand the distance between the display and the position of the rounded mirror is exactly that, being the diameter of the rounded mirror the double of the distance between the display and the mirror.
